First National Breed Specialty Show

The Danish/Swedish Farmdog first Specialty was held in conjunction with the American Rare Breed Association (ARBA) Rocky Mountain Classic September 2nd and 3rd, 2006. The location of the show was at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont Colorado.

This was a wonderful show, and we all learned a lot. Lars Adeheimer, our distinguished judge from Sweden, gave verbal critiques of all our dogs. He took a considerable amount of time educating us all on the Danish/Swedish Farmdog, both in the ring, and during the Saturday evening seminar. The individual dog critiques are located in the Members Only section of the site.

Lars was impressed by what he saw here, and he believes we have an excellent representative population of farmdogs in the US. Our “family” spirit within our group, and our enthusiasm for the breed impressed Lars immensely.

This was a most wonderful and valuable weekend for our Farmdog family.
